The residence course will be an ideal choice for you if you want to spend as much time as possible with your fellow students and if you’re looking forward to afternoons full of activity and sports in our Summer Camp in Weimar. You are going to stay in a residence for young people that will be reserved for you and your course mates. The staff will look after you 24 hour a day and make sure that you feel at home in Thuringia. With 20 or 24 lessons per week you’ll be making fast progress and can practice German intensively.

The junior residence lies on the edge of the historic city center, and is surrounded by orchards and small private gardens. It has its own grilling area as well as an outdoor open area for playing basketball and soccer. Although the building is quietly situated, the city center is not far away: it can be reached on foot in less than a half hour and by bus in as little as 10 minutes. The two- and four-bed rooms are all equipped with their own private bathrooms, which are cleaned daily. The hand towels are exchanged every four days at no cost to participants. Also included in the course price is unlimited free Wi-Fi Internet. Ping-pong, foosball as well as a billiard table are available for use during participants’ free time.

However, the dark side of German history can also be experienced by course participants if they choose to visit the Buchenwald concentration camp memorial.
